Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Since we circulated the first call for support for this year’s
EuroMemorandum, we have have received the sad news that Joerg Huffschmid has
died. Jörg was the founder of the EuroMemo Group and played the leading role
in the annual conference and the preparation of the EuroMemo.
The best way to honour Jörg’s memory is to continue the work he began. We
are attaching a copy of this year’s EuroMemorandum. If you are in broad
agreement with its contents, and if you have not already done so, we ask you to indicate your support by adding your name to the EuroMemo’s list of
signatories. To do this, please complete the attached form and return it to
Diane Wehlau (wehlau@uni-bremen.de) by Thursday evening.
